Painting in Graniti, Sicily for Graniti Murales – Fall 2017. 

I am thrilled to share with you the results of my recent mural project in Italy! As a happy member of 13 Feet off the Ground, a newly formed collective of 13 Vancouver female artists, we travelled to Graniti, Sicily in October to literally paint the walls of the tiny village.

We were hosted by the Art Residency program and the people of Graniti, who have the biggest hearts. They fed and boarded us, visited with us and welcomed us into their community.

Immersing ourselves in Sicilian rural life for a month in Fall 2017 was truly a magical experience.
